Further reading on mediumship

There are several useful books on the subject of mediumship and the spirit world. Here’s a brief selection of some of the most insightful reads:

Linda Williamson, Contacting the Spirit World (Piatkus, 2006)
An interesting exploration of how to fine tune your spiritual abilities in order to contact departed loved ones.

Gordon Smith, Developing Mediumship with Gordon Smith (Hay House, 2006)
This double CD set, published in November 2006, is an inspirational guide to becoming a medium, with practical guidance and instructions on developing your skills. 

Rita Berkowitz, Complete Idiot’s Guide to Communication with Spirits (Alpha, 2002)
As the title suggests, this book is a basic beginners guide to connecting with spirits through mediumship. It outlines the history of mediumship and interesting facts and figures are combined with practical hints and tips.

Larry Dreller, A Beginner’s Guide to Mediumship (Red Wheel/Weizer, 1997)
Another excellent introductory guide to mediumship, with a workbook section for putting your newly learned spiritual skills into practice.

James van Praagh, Talking to Heaven: A Medium’s Message of Life After Death (Piatkus, 1998)
This well known television medium gives a fascinating account of his communications with spirits as well as explaining how to get in touch with the spirit world yourself. His detailed descriptions of the afterlife have provided great comfort to many people who have lost loved ones and it is a very uplifting read.
